My Retailer: Black Hawk Homes, Inc.
Planning for Manufactured & Mobile Home Ownership
If you are new to the manufactured home buying experience or have questions, we have put together some helpful hints that we hope are useful to you.

Finding the Right Retailer
Using the cavcohomes.com website and entering your zip code, you will be able to find the retailer in your area. We suggest you try to purchase a home from a retailer that is in the general area of where the home is being placed, this helps provide quicker response time to your needs during and after your home purchase.
Financing
As you visit your local retailer you should explore your financing options. You may choose a conventional, FHA or VA loan. Most retailers do business with a number of mortgage companies; also your own bank, savings and loan or credit union may offer home loans. It is important to compare rates and terms to help decide the loan product that is best for you.
Land Options
If you own or intend to purchase land on which to place your factory built home, your retailer can help determine what government permits and site preparation might be required. If you have not selected land, many retailers have information on available sites for your home.
What to expect after you buy
It is a good idea to discuss with the retailer the time it will take to have your home built, installed, and completed at the site. Although weather, contractor schedules and other factors can have an impact on the site work and installation, usually you can get a good estimation of the date you can move into your new home.
