Cavco – Goodyear Honored for Community Impact
In December 2025, the Cavco - Goodyear team came together to support students at Michael Anderson Elementary School in Avondale, Arizona, a local Title I school. Recognizing that some students arrive at school wearing worn or hand-me-down shoes that no longer fit properly, team members stepped up to help.
The team adopted 100 students and worked together to provide new, properly fitting shoes to children who needed them most. What began as a challenge to donate up to 50 pairs quickly grew, with the facility matching the effort to reach the goal of 100 pairs.
For many students, something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a meaningful difference. Properly fitting footwear not only improves comfort but can also boost confidence, self-esteem, and a child’s sense of belonging at school.
The initiative held special meaning for several team members whose own children attend Michael Anderson Elementary, making the effort especially personal. Through teamwork and generosity, the Cavco - Goodyear team was proud to support local students and make a positive impact in their community.
